I just receive the parts for my son upgrade build. Moving from an XFX 780i with SLI 260 GTX.

After looking at my budget and my son asking me to upgrade his PC soon, he started to play 2033 and he got lang. I told him I would be ordering his part today, and to look for a buyer for his old system.

System ordered.

1 x ASUS H81M-K LGA 1150 Intel H81 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 uATX Intel Motherboard

1 x Cooler Master Vortex Plus - CPU Cooler with Aluminum Fins and 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

1 x Intel Core i5-4430 Haswell 3.0GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I54430

1 x Kingston HyperX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model KHX1600C10D3B1K2/16G

with an ASUS 660 GTX OC, that I had plan to replace, but did not get a chance.

Only decision, I have 2 cases from my old build, a HAF 912 or HAF 922, which one would be better for this build? I also have a HAF 932 from my Tri-SLI build, but I think that will be overkill, plus, I am think about using that one to move my current build from the Thermaltake Chaser A31

He currently has a Thermaltake Element S, but we are trying to sell the old system as is.

I also have a new V3 Black Edition

Any opinions??

922 will be better option, cause its slightly bigger than 912.

For CPU : Intel Core i5-4670K will be better choice for some extra bucks.

MB : Asus Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

No need for 16GB of RAM, will be an overkill. 8GB will be sufficient for every use. And you can get 1866MHZ for frequency, more fast than 1600MHZ.
And Corsair or G.Skill will be better choice for brand.

CPU Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO better than your chosen one.

And if you have the budget then go for a GTX 770 2GB VRAM version
