Antec 900 front fan broke

Ok so I just upgraded my pc and while reinserting the lower fan/harddrive bay I ended up accedently cutting the fan wire. I am wondering if this will be an issue. The second front fan is fine it is just there isn't a fan blowing directly on the drives. One is a samsung 840 pro ssd and the other is an older hdd for storage.

do you have electric tape ,skin a bit of the rubber gently to get the cooper wire tist the one with same color together and put a piece of tape on do the same for the other and maker shure no cooper wire touch one of the other color until they all tape do this power off and fan unplug from the board it should work ,this fan is useful for a good air flow .

It split in two. I don't have a sodering iron and have not experience in splicing. I can get a replacement fan bay from antec for 30 bucks but I am just curious if it is necessary.
