Is the asus maximus vi hero good?

Hi,
is the Asus maximus vi hero the best board i can get for the price range of 150-200? with features and overclocking

It is a good board and a good overclocker, but that price range has a pretty large selection of good boards, so it is hard to say if it is the best.
One of the best in any case.

Well hero is fine, then there is a selection of other boards, depending on features that you want there is:

Asus Z87 Pro which is a prety solid board.
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC is good as well.
Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 has some features others don't.
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H and UD4H as well.

All good boards, basically should check them out for the features that you want.
But if the hero has everything you want, then it is a good solid board and you can't go wrong with it.

The Z87X-OC is then probably your best bet. Gives you good overclockability and only has basic(ish) features otherwise.

Well G1.sniper might be the board for you then if you prefer high audio quality. Overclocks well as well.
