Dont scrimp on the power supply, if you need all that power then pay the extra for a bronze or better certified PSU. Tommy tashy (cheap) PSU's rarely give the output they state and if they do running them at near to full load burns them out fast. An eg of what you need is here http://www.ebuyer.com/566858-powercool-x-viper-950w-mod...

Someone else may find a better one :)

There is no such thing as a cheap, 900w PSU. Srry. Corsair's builder series or Seasonic's G-Series are value focused.

i found a few, for 125$ you can get Antec HCG-900 but its 80+ bronze( id avoid this though)

for 190$ there is OCZ ZX 1000W modular, 80+ gold.

and for 210$ there is seasonic X 1050W and XFX pro 1050W also 80+GOLD. if you want platinum your gonna need around 240$ for simillar wattage PSU's.

all of these are solid PSU's with good ratings from jhonnyguru.

for a build like that a 1000W PSU is a major overkill! you need 1000+W PSu when your running some crazy setup with 3/4 way SLI! for a build like that 600W PSu is more than enough. something like seasonic S12II 620W or xfx pro 650W psu will do fine.

Hi There Meepz. That card recommendation is for your entire system, not just the card, and includes a healthy safety margin. The other parts dont use nearly as much as the GPU. You could get away with less, but I would suggest you shoot for the 700-800w range.

That said, in a high end system that might be overclocked or etc in the future, I see no reason not to aim a little higher. The PSU will run most efficiently with a little bit of extra room.

These would be excellent choices:
