OEM Windows 8 is good for multiple installs, on one PC at a time. Windows 7 and earlier, the OEM was tied to the original motherboard.
The licensing changed significantly with Windows 8.

It will work.

No, that is not a valid purchase. If you look at the fine print on the disk, it says "For Distribution Only With a New Dell PC"
Those are ex-corporate licenses, not retail.

But if you currently have Windows 8 installed and your drive is not yet dead, make your own install media!
Follow the steps here: http://www.nirmaltv.com/2013/05/09/download-windows-8-iso-from-microsoft/

That would be great, but since my computer is a pre-built from iBUYPOWER and it uses an OEM version of Windows 8, that key is only good for one install. I don't think this will work, would it?
