Hello Community, i have the same problem like the guy in this thread.
I cant solve the problem alone, thats why i need your help.
Ive installed the latest Drivers, my Windows 8.1 is updated and i really dont know whats the problem.

Asus Sabertooth 990FX Gen3 R2.0

I must solve the problem, because i cant use another Audiocard, i have 2x GPU's on my Motherboard.
My english is not the best, but i think we can understand each other.

Ok part of the problem is two of the boxes that are enabled, are for pure digital decoding.
The on board sound chip can send digital information for optical cable connection or Digital information via the jack to digital decoder box for 5.1 sound up 7.1 dts surround sound.
Where it is decoded by the box sent to and converted by it to analog for the example 5.1 speakers.

That is how speakers produce sound through modulation, where as digital does not.
Its a simple on, off pulse.

However there not the devices you wish to use are they because most likely you don`t have either.

Where as the HD speaker option allows the signal by the on board sound chip, allows the digital to be converted to analog output by the sound chip its self for say desktop speakers. of 2.1 or up to 5.1 it does the decode internal.

Then outputs each source via the five jacks to a 5.1 speaker box.
Or the single Jack for 2.1 for example.

So remove the HD realtek audio manager.
Disable both the digital options if enabled.
Plug the jack in and it should sense it.

Right click and select as default audio device.
It is important to set the speaker type because the wrong setting will result in no sound.

Go into the advanced options and set the speaker type 2.1 or 5.1 if using all of the color outputs from the back set of audio outputs of the board click apply.
