Well 8gb is more than enough for gaming purposes, not too sure about photoshop though. The gtx 760 is a good card and while your phenom is a bit old, with a little overclocking it should be fine for now but you will need to upgrade it. Problem is, I wouldn't recommend overclocking on such a low end board like that with a 760g chipset and I don't think your phenom would go very far anyway

8 gig is plenty but I mite have gone with 2x4 1600 so you get both channels working
and maybe a 1 or 2 tetra byte hard drive 7200 instead of a 500 gig you will be surprised how fast they fill up anyway
just a suggestion

the photoshop will suck up avail ram... don't know what cinema4d is............. if you can buy 1 stick of the same EXACT ram do it. otherwise buy a new matched set ( 2x4 ) that your board supports.

the 760 is way overkill. look for a 2gig 7850 or 2gig 6950. you don't need more than that. even those would be overkill for the cpu and res.

what power supply do you have?

You can keep the board for now, but I don't recommend you overclock with it. Problem is, if you where to upgrade to a fx cpu, then I recommend you change the board as that chipset is old and does not have proper support for it. Just don't overclock with it. 3 phases to the cpu is not enough and is risky and you could risk blowing the vrm's, their is also no heatsink over it

a gtx 760 will work perfectly ?? and is it necessary to balance the slots of the ram? 4 gb in a slot and 8 gb in one wont work right?

What psu do you have?, you should check with that first before getting the 760

I would recommend you balance the ram with even size and speed in each slot. Although I think it would work, just make sure they are running at the same speed.

8gb is more than enough, so since you already have one 4gb, just buy another 4gb (same speed as the other one) and it should be fine
