So i'm wondering is it possible to lose frames if my CPU is getting to warm?
I've got coretemp on and when my CPU hits 80 it goes to yellow, and i've a strange feeling that i'm getting less frames then i should get at times.

Anyways i find it strange that i even hit 80 graden... using a 4770k stock cooler, when playing BF4 i'm around 65-75 graden. Stock cooler... Is this just a crappy stock cooler or do i have a crappy CPU unit?

Completely normal temps with the stock cooler.
The CPU doesn't start throttling until after 90°C, but according to my tests Haswell CPU's run best at around 70°C.
