So I found 2 laptops with pretty good specs I think, the only problem is they both are on 1080p resolutions. I'd like them to be 1366x768 resolution for smoother gameplay, but I can't get those, so whichever of these are better for 1080p? Won't the gtx 765m be bottlenecked by the i3? Although i've read that the i3 isn't much worse from the i5. Though this i5 got a turbo boost, but the i3 doesn't.
Is it worth picking up the GT 750m with i5 with turbo boost vs gtx 765m with i3?
This is strictly for gaming, i want the best machine for gaming.

Here's the rest of the specs too -
GPU - gtx 765m ddr5 2gb
CPU - i3-4000m 2.4ghz
1080p matte display
8gb sodimm 1600mhz ram (1x8gb)
500gb 5400rpm HDD

and

GPU - GT 750m 2gb ddr3
CPU - i5-4200m 2,5ghz with turbo boost up to 3,2 ghz
RAM - 8gb so-dimm 1600mhz (2x4gb)
500gb 5400 rpm HDD
1080p glossy display

You can customize it on pcspecialist.co.uk. That's where I wanted to buy it.

Hey, that i3 4000m will definately bottleneck the GTX7650M. i3 is pretty weak on laptops... The i5 with 750M will be a much balanced config.

It's completely insane to buy with that config. A significant fraction of your 765's power will get wasted. That's why you don't see laptops with such config. from the well-known manufacturers.

The desktop equivalent of a mobile Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti.
The mobile i3-4000M is close to a Sandy Bridge desktop i3
So there is no bottleneck.
Laptops usually have lower end GPUs to save power. On the other hand CPUs don't consume much power, so manufacturers can just put i7 without decreasing battery time.
It's pure luck if u find such a laptop with a capable GPU
