I've found some good deals on tigerdirect which would save me a few hundred. I just want to know what parts I should and should not purchase from the US as I live in Australia. I don't want parts to be damaged and I'm not sure how UPS handles parcels. This idea crossed my mind due to amazon not being able to ship some parts to Australia.

Parts like Ram and possibly an ssd could be shipped from the US but overall I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks for any help.

G'day, I had a mate who had several problems shipping water cooling from the us and also received a damaged motherboard. I would not go with it because you cant return the parts to a shop if it gets damaged. I just recently built a system and got almost all the parts from MSY, i know they have had a bad history with customer service but my experience there proves that wrong I had a pleasent experience exchanging and replacing parts hassle free.

Yeah all good mate decided to go with MSY as people have said doing RMA's returns etc is a hassle. I'm paying an extra few hundred but if any problems occur I'd get parts quicker and with less of a hassle :) Anyways Happy new years mate
