Hello, i'm new here but i like this site a lot. My PSU (factory one) is making a noise and im thinking of replacing it. The thing is that i would like to replace it myself so that i can start learning but i read some stuff on the internet and i'm a bit scared.
I read something like maximum wattage of the motherboard and it might burn my PC etc..
Since i live in Greece the parts here are a bit limited so im thinking of buying this one CORSAIR CX600 - 80 PLUS BRONZE CERTIFIED POWER SUPPLY
My current PSU is this LPG9-43 Power Supply ΑΤΧ 500W
My mobo is Gigabyte P55M - UD2
My CPU is i5 750
And my GPU( which im thinking also to upgrade in the future) is radeon 6450.
Another question that i have is should i consider the CXM model?
So what do you guys think? Should i try it myself or i will burn my PC?
Any tips are welcome.
Sorry if it is too much to read. I wanted to do it right..
Thanks in advance!
