CPU: Intel i5 2500 3.3 GHz

Power: LC POWER 650W ATX v2.3 80+ bronze
Hard Disc: Western Digital 500 GBD
OS: Windows 7 x64

You will be able to play skyrim with gt 630 on medium settings at around 50 fps and high around 20 to 30 fps. So I'd say take and since your playing 720p you'll get higher fps than the ones I have said.

What nvidia card would I have to buy to play high/ultra? And what is the most money i'd have to spend? And keep in mind I don't need shadow and AA on highest, those can be turned off

Thanks for feedback, but here is the deal. My brother can give me Asus GeForce GT630 2GB DDR3 for free, and I'll probably take that because I don't want to spend any money. So does somebody know on what details will I have to put to be able to play on 60 fps 1080p or 720p ?

just because a card is old it dose not mean it wont do the job. There are a lot of capable cards out there. Also AMD still supports the 6000 series. Is it the best card no but for what he was willing to spend that's what would give him the most performance. so making a suggestion like that is reasonable. I have no loyalty to new or old i only care about performance and will take advantage of any deals i can find.

The 6000 series are outdated and they wont support mantle! Why get a 6870 when You Can get the 7790 for same price?

The 7790 supports mantle where as the 6870 doesn't so the 7790 will perform better in games such a bf4 and etc... (games that use mantle api)

So technically 7790 is better than the 6870 in all areas.

A 2 fps difference is extreme miniscule when it comes to this, mantle should improve gpu performance by 20-50% so as I said before the 7790 will be better for future games. The 6870 is also more of a power hog and uses a worse manufacturing process.

your hopeless... your right about the power though. I ordered a r9 290x a few days ago waiting for it to get here .. lol ill be glad to be rid of my 6870s but i will tell you they are great performers and would never bash them. I have killed many a newb with that setup.
