Hi Guys,
My computer is a about 5 years old,
I have been running the PC fine and decided to put another 2GB of ram in but it doesnt seem to work, I boot up fine but when I get pass the bios the screen goes blank and shuts down/just hangs on the black screen.
Ive tried the RAM modules separately and they're both working fine.
When I take out my graphics card and plug the VGA onto my onboard VGA output it works with 2 sticks?
But when I put the GPU back in it just doesn't want to work?
Not sure what the problem is? Maybe my PSU?
Specs:
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300
Motherboard: MCP73VT-PM
Ram: First module is: Samsung PC2-5300U 2GB
Seconds module: Samsung PC2-6400 2GB
GPU: MSI 8400GS
