So i get a seagate external hdd and it freezes my whole computer. After days of researching I got it exchanged(turns out it was defective).
Now it has worked fine all day until now..I can always copy upto 50% of all files and it just hangs..I mean (It always copies a constant percent of a file..and then hangs- at the same exact spot) EVERYTIME.
IDK what is happening.
Can you help me figure out the problem?
I am giving it a format and trying again.
