Taskbar programs not showing program name

So I want my programs to actually use the space in the taskbar and show the program name,also if i click on a program I expect the it to use the icon in the taskbar if that specific program is pinned to the taskbar

I do not think there is a way to show text-titles for programs that are not running. However if you right click the task bar and go to Properties; there is a selection drop down menu for task bar buttons. Choosing either the second or third down will let titles appear for programs running (select apply after your choice). Hope this helps.
