Problem with Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012

I have a problem with Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012 version, i bought the game via Box, and the game ended up installing an Origin program and i had to create an account and etc, i entered the password on my box and suddenly the Origin program was basically downloading NFS, and using 6 Gigabytes of my Cap. I am confused because what is the point of buying the game which is about 6 Gigs on the CD which is the installation but it wants to 'download' the installation of game instead???

this sometimes happens sometimes steam or origin program gets mixed up or hell could be just update patches

i bought a game saints row 4 and the patches it installed via steam was 3gb

lol thanks but seeing that I was not knowledgeable about origin it was simply that the game did require the extra 6 gigs as it was the update , but thanks for your response
