1. Seeing as BF4 does not currently run natively under Linux, that cannot be answered
2. You could install Windows whenever yo like
3. They are two completely different operating systems. The differences are many and varied. Just like the difference between Windows and Apple.

Games that run on Linux are increasing, but overall still lags far behind games that run on Windows. The Steam ecosystem (and the recent SteamOS release) are major movers of getting games to run on a Linux base. But it still lags far behind what is available for Windows.

If you start out with Linux, why would you switch to Windows? You can dual boot Windows and Linux, but Windows needs to be the first OS installed on the drive. Linux is smart enough to include Windows in its bootloader, while Windows is arrogant enough to think it should be the only OS

Just FYI, if you install Windows into it's own partition after linux then all you need to do to get the dual boot menu back is to boot from a live linux and install boot-repair. Fix you right up without any command line work.
