this has been happening for some time first the screen will go black for a few seconds then the whatever video I am watching will go green sound will continue for another minute or so then bsod.
this happens only when watching youtube but very infrequently, this has been going on for over a year but has only happened around 20 times.
I would like to know what is causing this or how to fix it please help.
What you see in red is the issue. If it is the "dxgkrnl.sys" like you posted above, that points to an issue with the video driver. Which things are in red? Or can you take a screen shot and attach that?
it wont let me attack the screenshot for some reason but there are a few different thing in red each time. one keeps showing up each time though so I guess ill start there
"ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+e96d2 fffff800`02e51000 fffff800`03439000 0x005e8000 0x503f82be 30/08/2012 11:41:58 AM Microsoft® Windows® Operating System NT Kernel & System 6.1.7601.18247 (win7sp1_gdr.130828-1532) Microsoft Corporation C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe"
im not Shure what to do about it however. this kind of seems like something windows needs to run so im kind of hesitant to do anything what should I do?
edit: looking through the files there are actually only 5 things in red

Notice the dates. There is one crash from 2011 and another in 2012 which you can ignore since they are so old. The one on Aug 28 seems to be the latest and is with the core part of the Windows OS. Open a command prompt (run as admin) and type in: sfc /scannow
That will scan your main OS files and repair them if needed. It's not an end all solution, but a starting point to make sure the OS is correct.
