When I shutdown my computer my monitor turns off but my motherboard and case fans are still on. I have searched all over for an answer. I have used windows 8, 8.1 and right now using windows 7 Ultimate. Operating system isn't the problem. First new build. I have done a reset of my BIOS on the motherboard inside the computer. I have all the drivers and BIOS up to date. I have read in one forum from someone else's problem that having two different RAM could cause a problem. Is that true to what I have to fix my problem of my case fans not turning off. The fans do turn off when the computer goes to sleep. I have to push the power button off for 5 secs to turn it off. My computer when turning it back on doesn't display anything showing that I turned the computer off incorrectly.
