I have recently built a PC with the beastly Sapphire R9 290 card. Performance is awesome, as said by reviewers. Currently gaming at under 80C with 50 fan speed at a mild 1 GHz OC (It's winter and I am capping fps on 60, so that explains a lot =\).
Now that my credit card is free for use, I thought of buying a custom cooler to make sure the temps stay very low, especially in summer (Gets over 30C here in August), and allow some overclocking when it starts to become dated.
I've considered the Gelid Icy Vision Rev 2 for a very good price of 55$ with shipping:

Problem is I haven't seen much info on how loud it is and how well it actually cools. I've considered the Accelero Xtreme III/II but they cost almost twice as much! The Hybrid is even more expensive...
Would any of you recommend the Gelid, or are there better solutions (No water blocks please, I don't want to enter there...).
