my GPU is under performing

okay so when i first got my GTX 770 i was running battlefield 4 on high settings at 50-60 fps and now i upgraded my motherboard to an asus M5A78-MLE and my psu to an 750 watt corsair and now im running battlefield 4 on low at 42 fps

Did you install a fresh copy of Windows? It is compulsory to install a fresh copy of windows if you change motherboard. You can skip it if you upgrade CPU, graphic card or add more RAM, but it is something I would recommend.

okay, so if you want us to try and give you a solution then be a bit more specific please and "define", "i upgraded my PSU and MB".
1. Did you reinstall Windows? it is stronlgly recommended when you upgrade your MB to reinstall Windows.
2. if you didnt take step 1, then you atleast tried to uninstall the old drivers (mobo drivers/chipset and video drivers) and isntall new ones?

No i just continued using the windows 8 that i had on my hard rive and i have 8 GB of Kingston's 1333mhz ram but it ran fine before with both of these

Okay I upgraded from a GIGABYTE 78LMT-USB3 to a ASUS M5A78-MLE
then and apline 600w to a CORSAIR CX750
i did not install a new copy of Windows but i did uninstall old drivers

it is HIGHLY recommended to reinstall Windows when you upgrade your motherboard...
