Basically last week I was playing No more room in hell with my friends, and suddenly my pc shut down. In the beginning I thought it was a windows problem so I turned my pc back on and playyed some league of legends without any problem... the day after that I tried playing NMRiH again and the same thing happened, So I cheked my temps and my Q9400 was running at 72-3 degrees in idle! and the situation got worse and worse to the point that I couldn't even play a simple game like LoL.
So I COMPLETELY cleaned my pc, removed every single bit of dust from my cooler and change my thermal paste.
The temps got just a little bit better in fact now I get 55-60 degrees idle.. BUT THAT IS STILL A LOT.
I don't know what to do now :(  please help

Its possible that the fan on your CPU heat sink might not be spinning as fast as it needs to. Have you noticed any sounds coming from your computer that you haven't heard before?
The first thing that I would do is verify that your CPU heat sink fan is in fact spinning when the computer is running.
Another possibility is that the thermal compound under the CPU heat sink could be drying out.
Any one of those things will cause an increase in temps.
