Hi guys. Im getting new computer soon, but since I can't decide between 3 graphic cards I'd need your help.

1.) Sapphire Radeon R9 280x TOXIC 3GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

2.)Gigabyte Radeon R9 280x 3GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
I'd order on computeruniverse.net where you get this card + BF4 included

3.) Asus Radeon R9 280x 3GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

As said before, I would order my components from computeruniverse.net, because they have good reputation and low prices.

I know the Sapphire Toxic edition is the most powerful, but I'd like to hear your opinion on choosing a card

Sapphire is the most powerful, got more OC potential for later, very good cooling system and good quality components but the other two are also good.

The Toxic is the most powerful however its the most power needy.
The ASUS is known to have memory and VRAM leaks for reason I have no idea why.
The Gigabyte one is long I mean it's just long, did I mention its long? oh yeah its long

Also have you considered the GTX 770? it performs better than the 280X at 1080p gaming. Not to mention since the cryptocurrency boost R9 280Xs now cost the price of a Dual 770? which is roughly $400 while the GTX 770 stays at $340.. your choice

Any of them, but I have heard plenty of people have trouble with Sapphire' coolers. My problem I have is one of the fans on it clicks, but only under certain conditions but it has been good apart from that for 18+ months.

Thank you both for your answers.

Btw, isnt Toxic longer than Gigabyte? I mean...it's around 30cm long.
I considered GTX770, but it's still overpriced...I can get Sapphire toxic for 290€ from Germany.

the 770 is a good investment for 1080p however that all depends on how much it costs for you over there in Germany. On newegg its 40 dollars cheaper than the R9 280x

i think that price hike of the 280x series seems to only be affecting the US at the moment. down here in Australia the 770 is still significantly more expensive than any 280x models. they are all good cards, i would trust asus and gigabyte before sapphire anyday, i have heard many issues with sapphires support if something does go wrong. gigabyte and asus's support system are probably the best worldwide.

You forgot to mention EVGA's support. the ASUS R9 280x has been reported to have memory leaks at times. Im not so sure on Gigabyte's support but I hear they are okay rather than being one of the best

Well, I found few 770 quite cheap http://www.computeruniverse.net/en/products/90512089/gi...
and it's gigabyte. But isnt 770 much older than r9 280x series? And 280x supports mantle for gaming in future.

It's really hard to pick from few manufacturers because I know I'm spending quite a lot of money on it and want my graphics card to be working as it should. Beside that, many prefer Sapphire, while others prefer Gigabyte and Asus and that makes it even more difficult to choose, since people have different opinions.

Do you think I should completely abandon the idea to get r9 280x and go for gtx 770 instead?
I really want to get as much opinions as I can

Anyway, is Nvidia or AMD planning to release new graphics card anytime soon? Because I dont want a buy new graphics, 1 month before they release new one :D

It's definitely not the US only. The prices went up ~20% in Finland. Availability for the 280X is non-existant.

Well yes the 770 is older than the 280X just buy a few month May - October however they are both rebadged cards. The 280X is a rebadged 7970 while the 770 is a rebadged 680 so the release dates of these cards isn't the main concern, the main concern is how well they can perform.

I'm not sure if they are releasing any new cards, what I do know is that im waiting for R9 290X aftermarket coolers to release.

Like I said get the 770 for sure if your gaming at 1080p, though the R9 280X is faster at resolutions higher than 2k because of the 3GB of VRAM.

You should go ahead and get that EVGA 770 If I were you
