Currently have Core i3 3220 duo core 3.3GHz CPU, and a GTX 650 Ti GPU. I run battlefield 4 on medium/high but my processor is at 70-100% usage at ALL times.. What should I upgrade to enhance gaming performance and if so, what should I upgrade to?

what load is your GPU at? Upgrading your GPU when the CPU is already near 100% in BF4 won't improve much. However BF4 is very CPU intensive (my i5-3570k @ 4.4GHz is at 70-100%). Other games would benefit from a better GPU without stressing the CPU as much.

Upgrade your CPU.

Ideally you want to get a i7 3770k.

Realistically you want to look at the i5 3570k.

Upgrading your GPU will not do you any good because your CPU would be too weak to handle the increased performance of the new card. That's called "bottle-necking" because the CPU can not handle the amount of data the GPU is putting out fast enough for you to get any more performance.

Yes that will work. The reason I looked at the "k" models for you is so you have an easier time overclocking. Your socket is out of date and so to keep up you will eventually have to overclock to squeeze out as much performance as you can from your CPU. That model will have a more difficult time overclocking, but it will definitely get the job done.
