Laptop 500gb hdd or 256gb SSd

I am looking at the Lenovo thinkpaad s440 for college, will be for taking notes and coding etc...
I was wondering if it would be best to have a 500gb hdd or a 256gb SSd, is the £130 price difference worth it or not

That is up to you. But let me tell you one thing, once you go SSD, you will never want to come back. The performance gain is incredible. Your Laptop will be blazing fast. But it's entirely your choice.
