Hello,
I have an AMD Radeon 7770 Ghz Edition, with 2 gb ddr5 ram. Now i would like to have triple monitors hooked up to it, as i already have 2. The first 2 are identical basic Dell monitors, the third is a larger Samsung tv. I was hoping to use the first 2 as normal, and use the third as something like for videos and movies above. I have searched for HOURS, hoping to find out how to connect all 3. I have seen some say that they all have to be identical, but ive seen people that have 3 totally seperate monitors. I would just like to have the large and duplicate monitors extended. I wont use it other then dragging videos and other things to, past that i prefer my smaller monitors for games and things of that sort. Anyways, if anyone has a solution or a suggestion it would be greatly appreciated. Thu number one thing that has been throwing me off is all the tutorials have been in the old catalyst format, but i have the newest update. Please help as soon as possible, it bugs me to have a third black meaningless monitor hovering over my computer.
Thank you,
Avery

Solution
You may need an active display port adaptor for one of the monitors to do three displays. I think the issue is trying to use the HDMI port for the TV.

Would you suggest making the HDMI a VGA or DVI!?

Alright, right now i have both monitors hooked up on DVI yes, sorry. I just looked and saw it had an adpater for vga, so in terms yes i have them both on DVI. But once i plug in the TV through HDMI, the computer sees it. Its in the Control panel settings as well as my AMD Catalyst Controller settings. But if i get it set in the control panel portion, it just says " Cant apply Changes." And in the Catalyst Control Center i cant even get the option to extend to a third monitor. So the Card and Computer read it and are aware its there, i just cant get to a section where i cant apply and extend it.
Once again i appreciate you replying and helping!
