My current processor, AMD Athlon II X4 645, and my graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 4200. is there any way i can upgrade the both of these with around a 200$ budget?

Well that'd be kind of hard.. The Cpu is Ok.. Itll run current games fine but with only 200$ id throw it all into the GPU.. Could you give me the rest of system specs? and is 200 your max or could you squeeze out a bit more?

There should be a sticker on the side of your power supply inside the case which says what the model and stats are. Possibly model number as well.

As for motherboards, generally if you look at it, there is brand and model number written to the actual board in white.

As for the case itself, a picture from the side with the side open and from the back should help. The picture from the inside might even show the motherboard.

I'll update that on you tommorow, it's late and i've got to get to sleep. But what i can tell you so far is that i would like a new graphics card so i can play games on high settings but i can't do it because my processor has a 220 watt power supply, which is why i need a new processor. And my motherboard has an AM3 socket.

Ok so you need to upgrade your power supply and then you can get a better graphics card.
In theory this should be fine:

Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2kZZV/by_merchant/
Benchmarks: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2kZZV/benchmarks/

Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card ($134.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($54.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $189.98
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

But if your case can take it or not, is difficult to say.

So all i need is a power supply, i don't need a completely new processor?

Yeah, your processor is enough for what you want it to do, You just need a powersupply and video card. what he selected is good for the price. good quality powersupply and probably best bang for buck GPU on the market.

But yeah the case is now the big question mark. If it is not big enough, then the whole upgrade process might not work.
But if it takes regular ATX sized power supplies and it can handle full height expansion cards then those 2 things should be fine.
