I have a Gateway laptop with VGA and HDMI ports on the side, and i would like to be able to hook up 2 monitors, one being my TV on my dresser via 30 foot HDMI cable, and one 24" Monitor on my desk via VGA cable. Would the computer be able to provide both displays with their own video feeds so that I could make one display a Main and the other a Secondary? Would windows recognize both displays and be able to change the resolution accordingly? I wanted to consult other people's opinions before i go spending money on something that i dont need or wont work for my application.

Thanks in advance!

Hmm, not sure. I can't find enough info on them.

You will definitely be able to use either of them and the laptop's screen, but I'm not certain about both simultaneously. I would expect you could, but nothing's certain.

Windows can change the resolution fine.

Its is an AMD Radeon HD 6520G, and I wouldn't mind to use the laptop screen, but its not a necessity.
