Yeah, and would you need any features like 4 ram slots, wireless, usb 3.0?

Sorry, was dozing off as I was typing and forgot to add the budget. Im not looking for any special features. I just need what is capable of running this card. I currently have 4 ram modules and i suppose the mobo that would be capable would have a max capacity of 16-32gb of ram. Thank you for everyones help thusfar.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... 64$ After shipping.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... 81$ after shipping.. Its also a FM2+ motherboard so when you have money for it you can upgrade to the Steamroller CPU's when they're release.. Also i chose the Athlon because you already have a 6870 and dont need Integrated graphics

PS: got 5 bucks left. Go get yourself a sandwich when you're done putting it together. (also i know it only has 2 ram slots but RAM is cheap and once DDR4 comes out DDR3 will be even cheaper.)

I suppose then i wouldnt be able to get this until i get more money to buy larger ram modules then, and in that case, it'd prob be better to just spend more on the mobo, wouldnt it?

I'll borrow $20 if need be. its almost christmas afterall.

Well its hard for 150$.. With FM2+ you can upgrade later when AMD releases steam roller, But then again if you went AM3+ FX you would have to either get a Crappy CPU or a crappy mobo. ill look a bit more.

40? You could get the FX6300 for 110 on newegg. Exact 150$ and a decent Cpu.
