My friend is thinking about throwing a Radeon 7750 into his shitty Acer S480G with a 300W power supply. Now I know 300W is probably fine for a 7750, but I just want to be safe so I'm wondering what brand the power supply is.

I've physically opened the PC up and looked at the power supply but it had no branding on it at all so I couldn't tell. Does anybody know the OEM brand of this power supply? If it's Delta or something then that's good because those power supplies are half decent.

they are spread around but traditionally they contract out to HEC.

I'm looking on their website at their 300W unit which says it has 2 12v rails with 18a each, should be enough to run a 7750 right?

I did some googling on that power supply but can't find anything, do you think it is going to be a decent quality unit?

I know that corsair and thermaltake do some of their contracting to HEC, specifically thermaltake with their TR2 line which I use with my entry level builds due to its decent price range. As for if it is up to par, for a 7750 I think it should suffice although not for anything more then that.
