Hi there I need to reset my MoBos bios settings but I can't turn it on since it isn't working so I need to do a hard reset I don't have the jumper to do it with the pins, so I'm told I can do it by taking out the battery pack for round 5-10 mins and putting it back in. Does that work? Also if I do this will it reset my entire computer or just the BIOS settings, like will it delete my files or delete my games or anything. The specs are:
Core 2 E8400 3 GHZ
8800 GT Alpha dog
8 GB RAM
2 X 160 GB HDDs
Win 7
I need to do this because when I power on my computer nothing happens nothing comes up....
