PS4 controller not recognized by Steam games

Hey, guys!

I connected the PS4 controller, and it is recognized by the computer- I can see it under the control pannel, I can test it and see responce to the buttons, but when I load Steam game, the games do not recognize it. So far I have tried it with Tomb Rider and Greed 2. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Games with controller support really mean they support an Xbox360 controller, Dualshock controllers use a different API which isnt natively compatible with pretty much any game.
You need to use a middleman software that will emulate an X360 controller and use your PS4 controller for its input. DS3 tool is what I use, though I have no idea if its compatible with the PS4 controller, its intended for the PS3 controller.
