Thinking about switching from my FX 8350 to an i7 4770k. Here's my motherboard - http://www.asus.com/ROG_ROG/CROSSHAIR_V_FORMULAZ/

Could I keep this mobo and instal a new INTEL cpu? Or will I need a new one? If so, please link me a good mobo that supports an intel chip and SLI

Yes you will need a new motherboard. Your old system uses AMD processors, and you want to use Intel. The companies are direct competitors and their hardware is not compatible. To show the point a little more, it would be like if a big truck painted Pepsi blue with Pepsi written across the side and after they unloaded it someone asked the Pepsi company if they would mind loading it up with Coca Cola. Not gonna happen.

Anyways, this one is decent enough and should do you.

Though without knowing more its hard to pick the best board for you. That one should work fine with SLI, but any other extra features you may need are just guess work without knowing your other hardware or...

You will need a new Motherboard (Z87)

Something like the http://www.asus.com/dk/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_Z87/

The ASUS ROG MOBO's is also recommended. A little over kill in a few ways.

But are you quite sure you need to replace those parts? Not to judge your choice. Just seems to me like a minor waste of money that could be used elsewere.

Also if you don't plan to overclock, you are better to get a Xeon processor.
