Hi guys, I know similar questions have been asked but i'd like your opinion if my card would be bottlenecked by my CPU? I plan to eventually upgrade, but if the bottleneck exits and it isn't bad the upgrade can wait a while.

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H

Potentially, yes. But that depends on the games you play.

my advise, get msi afterburner, hwinfo (not sure of the name), then configure to display usage of cpu and gpu. play a game that you have. if the gpu is not near 100% and the cpu is, then it is a bottleneck at least for that game. try your other games, games that you play a lot. see how it goes.

based on experience, the gpu gets to be utilized more than cpu, i have a 4ghz cpu and it runs around 70-80's while the gpu is at max already

yes it will bottleneck the gpu i had i3-2100 with hd7950 the minimum fps in games is very low crysis 3 is 15 , metro around 20 the cpu utilization is always around 90% while gpu 70%
i've upgraded to i5-3570k now every thing is normal crysis 3 never drops to 25 fps
if you can get a quad-core intel cpu its worth it

Figured i would have to monitor it with Afterburner. Will do so at the next opportunity. So far the only graphic intensive game i've been playing is Company of Heroes 2.
