Hi all
I own a Dell Studio equipped with an i5-520M CPU that I bought 3 years ago.
I am now looking for a new laptop and found out that Dell is currently using only low voltage CPUs. Experience with Dell was good and I am tempted to stay with this brand, but I am not sure about the low voltage CPU: it would be a 17" laptop with I7-4500u that I would use as multimedia station, some photoshopping, some flight simulation and marginally other gaming.
How do low voltage CPUs compare to normal ones? And I7-4500U vs my old i5-520M, is it worth upgrading?
Thanks!!
