i am using dg31pr motherboard & dual core processor. i want 1400x1050 resolution. Which card i should use to get such resolution.

Which cpu model is it?
What's your psu model?

i am using cpu 2.8 ghz dual core processor & o. s is win xp 32. we were using ge force 8400gs 512 mb graphic card. now that is not working 7 i am not getting the card now b'caz its outdated now. now which card is in the market to give the resolution of 1400x1050. this is resolution of one lcd panel which we are using for printing purpose.

get gt 610 1gb.it is enough as your purpose is not for gaming

u can use the Nvidia Control Panel to set a custom resolution. Make sure your drivers are updated

It is dangerous if the resolution is not supported by the monitor

Other thing that can cause not to show the desired resolution will be the cables, DVI,VGA,HDMI

thanks for reply. i am still having one query that it is possible to get the resolution of 1400x1050 with gt 610 2gb.? without this resolution i cant see the second display ( lcd pannel). because of that i cant make a print. the second display exposes the image on paper.

U don't need a new card. Try my suggestion with 8400GS. The problem is that u have a weird resolution monitor
