I happened to stumble upon a pretty nice deal online for some G.skill ddr3 8gb(4x2) 2133mhz memory. I'm currently running two 4gb sticks ddr3 1333mhz. I realize there's not that much performance to be gained as far as gaming goes but it's a really nice deal.
Here's the link to what I was looking at and I apologize that it is in Chinese but you can get the basic idea http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21312137188322
Timings are 11-11-11-30-2N. My current ram is at 9-9-9-24 but it's only 1333mhz.
Here's my full system specs:
FX 6300 @4.2ghz
M5a97 r2.0
MSI R9 280x @1100mhz/1550mhz
7200rpm hdd
seasonic s12II 520w
team group ddr3 1333mhz 4gbx2
Is this a decent upgrade or is the ram not worth going for?
Thanks in advance!

I think you're better off with your current ram. The timings on the g.skill ram aren't that great and the clock speed doesn't really affect performance in gaming. I suggest you save your money from that.

I realize that there is only a 1-5fps difference. I'm not getting it for that. I did however notice that when I overclocked my ram to 1600mhz with 11-11-11-30 timings, I was able to reach a higher oc and bring my cpu up to 4.4ghz(and most likely higher but I stopped) with a multiplier/fsb combo. Sorry for not mentioning that before. I figured if it wasn't too much money, I would try to get some faster ram thus I have been on the lookout for a good ram deal. Faster ram has proven to get my oc more stable when messing with the fsb. Anyways, thanks for the help. I was worried about the timings being looser than my current ram.
