Gtx 780 ti with Phenom x6?

I have Phenom x6 1100t right now. Will it be a good idea to buy gtx 780ti with this cpu? Or it's a much better idea to get gtx 780 jetstream + i5-4570. I need it for gaming. Thanks.

It is hard to decide. I'd rather suggest you to go with gtx 780 jetstream + i5-4570 . Phenom wouldn't be able to utilize all power from 780 Ti anyways, but that's just my opinion.

get the gtx 780+i5-4570

with the 1100t....you will need to oc the processor a lot to prevent it from bottle-necking in a couple of cpu intensive games

Better get an I5. Phenom's weak single threaded performance will bottleneck GTX780ti.If you are low on budget then get 290x with an i5.A better deal overall.

It can run any game maxed out with a decent GPU. BUT it wouldn't be able to utilize the full power of GTX 780 Ti, this is the most powerful card on the market.

Phenom single core performance wasn't that bad. Better clock for clock then boodozer
With an overclock, it would do "ok" but I still wouldn't pair it with a 780ti
