Hi, there.
I have DSL connection that I am accessing through D-Link Modem. I bought a Netgear Wireless Router JNR1010 . I am unable to access internet when i connect it the way it has been shown in the manual. I am unable to log in to the wireless router login page. Instead , when i type 192.168.1.1 it opens up the D-Link Modem config page. Please can someone help me out in setting it up.

First connect Netgear Router JNR1010 N150 with your laptop or desktop using LAN connection.
Open Browser and type http://192.168.1.1 (Do not connect Router to your modem yet)

This should open the router configuration page, if this does not open the router configuration page then please try to reset the router and try again.

Once the configuration is opened, select No I want to configure router manually if asked.

Click on "Advanced" and Select WPS Wizard -> Setup -> LAN Setup

Under LAN TCP/IP setup change IP Address to 10.0.0.1 and Apply the setting.

Now Connect Router With MTNL Modem using the Blue WAN Cable(supplied with the NetGear router).

Remove the LAN cable from Laptop/desktop connected to router and turn on wireless.

Look for SSID of your Router. Click connect, On password screen type the password written below the Router.

This should connect you easily.

also see Bridged mode is enabled (Before connecting this router to your existing ADSL broadband modem, you have to change the ADSL routers connection type to BRIDGE MODE (If you are using PPPoE mode , reconfigure your modem and change the same to Bridge Mode).
