problem with BitLocker

Whenever I'm trying to use my external HDD, it is giving me a strange error as:

BitLocker can't access this drive because of a problem with the PC or the drive itself
Error code : 0x8007007a
why is this error coming? and what should i do?
I found an answer at

but can't understand... is that an answer or not?

Its not an answer. Bitlocker is unable to unlock the drive. So its either you forgot the password, are entering incorrectly, the internal password key is corrupt, or the drive is having issues.

What happened right before you started getting this error?
Do you have your recovery key available? It had you make one when you encrypted the drive.

hi i am getting same error did u find a solution???
mine was not completely encrypted maybe 10%
anyway to recover the data
i have recovery key and password also.....

Hi !
if u have the password or the recovery key try to use 'M3 Bitlocker Recovery' it worked for me with the F###g bitlocker '0x8007007a' erreur
