This plus a nice monitor like this:
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vs229hp

and you're all set.

well the way i start is to look at what the newest most demanding games specs. are and try to stay above the mim. specs, for them games. [ like if the lowest card required for the game is a hd7770 and your budiget will allow you to get a 7850 witch is better and so forth] and work your budigt from there. some things you just cant go cheap, but you have to do what you can. but its better to stay just above the minimum that you can afford to and i may be wrong its easyer to save on a board then a vid card. if your not going to x-fire or sli and dont need extra usb/stata ports then a board like a 970 [90-130$]will do over a 990 [130+$] in a amd board. but dont go to low there eather. i dont buy all ''mac daddy'' but i try to stay just above the curve working with a budigt. if you find you need to wait to save an extra 50$ to get somthing you may find its the wait down the road.

$1300 for a GTX 660 - you are getting ripped off with that system. You can build your own with a better GPU for far less:

Don't forget the OP system, includes 2 120gb SSDs and a monitor it's not terrible for the money, but yeah I definetely agree, that it isn't the best you can get for $1300

Putting SSDs in RAID mode is generally a bad idea to begin with. It sets the drives up for failure far more than running them independently. That system's biggest flaw is that it spends way too much on storage and not enough on current hardware.

if the guy is wanting to save money why add a cpu cooler? the stock should do he good to get started and then that $ he cuold put tward a better hardware item. like a z87 gd65 board 159$? but i did like that ya'll chose the 990fx ud3 for the amd. i think thats a good choise. seeing how he did not state weather he is going to try to overclock or sli/x-fire. or just wants a solid stable running it at stock gammer. and just looking at newegg reviews on that asus z87-c dont look that good.
