Hi guys, so i have this two monitor

BenQ FP 731, this is my old monitor, and i've been using it on 1200(something) * 1024
Samsung 226BW, and i've been using this on 1600*1200

I want to set it up so that both screens have different resolutions, kinda like having two different desktops. I will only play on the samsung one, while the benq will be used for web browsing/file browsing.

Will it be possible? if so can you guys help me out?

My GPU is Asus R9 280x DC Top II

The benq is using a (vga cable) -- (vga to dvi) -- DVI-I
My samsung is using a dual link DVI-D -- DVI-D

Yeah it's possible. Just plug them both in and right click on desktop > screen resolution > extend desktop display. If the wrong one is picked as main then you can click on whichever one you want to in this window and say "make main monitor" or something like that.
