Looking for good graphic card compatible with M2N78-LA(violet) motherboard. it have one empty 1 PCI Express x16 slot for graphic card to play games like starcraft and company of heroes 2

You can have decent GPU, but it will depend on what CPU you got and PSU as well. And the size of the cabinet is another factor.

Look at the r7 240 or 250 and compare them to your cpu.

a 6450 would be the most you could go really with that psu. and i meant psu before, not cpu, sorry.

If you want to keep your current PSU and CPU, then go with HD 7750 or HD 7770. But make the measurements before you buy a GPU, chances are it wont fit your case.

That is not the case, if you need a good GPU, you have to upgrade the CPU as well as PSU. Otherwise the CPU will bottleneck any modern-day GPU.

Your MB has a PCI-E slot, so you can have any GPU, if you replace the CPU and PSU.

i wouldn't go above a 650ti or 270, and there i'm questioning whether it'd be worth it with your cpu.

It should, but that is a fanless design so make sure there's a fan from your case blowing air directly onto that area. Recommended psu is 400w for a 7750 with a fan cooler so no matter what you get a 300W power supply isn't going to get you much when adding a discrete card.

Yes, that is the card I mentioned in my second post.

Measured power consumption R7750 :-

1.System in IDLE = 155W
2.System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 188W
3.Difference (GPU load) = 33W
4.Add average IDLE wattage ~10W
5.Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 43 Watts

So a 300W PSU will be able to run the card, provided its a decent PSU.
