Hello, I have a Lenovo Ideapad y410p, and i would like to purchase an M.2 SSD for it (thus leaving the DVD drive open for a future second GPU). I didn't find a lot of options available: are they still on their way to market? Are there already some good ones around, or should I wait for better ones in the near future? Comments and suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks!
Sai

I only saw THIS one so far (Intel is reliable though): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167168

80GB is enough for some people but it sounds like you want to GAME (2nd GPU) so I doubt it's large enough. After overprovisioning you would have about 60 to 65GB usable.

Will there be a 2nd GPU available for your laptop "in the future"? My experience is these parts disappear in a year, maybe two at most.

Also, I'm a little confused, does the "DVD" slot double as a DVD, or a 2.5" drive, or a 2nd GPU slot so you have to CHOOSE one of the three?

Didn't even know what a M.2 SSD was, looks amazing. They currently have limited supply with high prices. I would wait until they have been tested more and prices reduce. (General rule of tech).

If you do want it earlier then look around for stock and read reviews.
