Hello everyone, I currently have the following;

MotherBoard: Asus M4A785-M Onboard ATI Radeon HD 4200
PCI: Express 2.0 x16
Memory: DDR2 8GB
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9850
PSU: Extreme ATX 450W

I recently got into basic video editing, and have choppy playback and low video quality all around. I'd like to bolt on a fairly inexpensive graphics card that would boost my playback quality. I was looking at the VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 3650 (900280) 512 MB card. Mostly because it is cheap, and secondly because I believe it will work with the crossfirex? I am not a gamer, and don't need extreme quality.

New to graphics card, and really have no idea what I'm looking at. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Budget new/used for $50 or less.

Thanks.

You can get 6570's for about $50 new.
And you can get 6670's off of ebay for under $50.

Also if an older card is ok, 4850's 4870's and 4890's can be had for around $50 off of ebay.
Probably best to go with 6570 or 6670 as they don't need PCIe connectors.

I am liking the price/stat's on the 4890. I think I'll take a closer look at that one. Thank you for your reply.
