Which monitor for eyefinity?

I'm hoping to be lucky and get my hands on a non reference r9 290 for eyefinity gaming (it should handle 40-50fps on ultra, 2560x1080). Anyone know for 5760 x 1080? sorry to go off topic.

I have narrowed my choices down to 2 monitors. Feel free to suggest any others.

Depends if you want TN or IPS. IPS has the advantage of having wider viewing angles, which is good for eyefinity, but TN is faster, if you're playing games that require quick reflexes.

5760x1080, you probably want two of the R9 290's.

Would agree even with a R9 290 you are going to need Crossfire for 5760x1080. Otherwise the frame rate is going be very low in most newer games since that is still quite abit of pixels to be displayed.

I'm aware I will have to get hdmi to dvi or dp to dvi adapters. Any1 know of any good comparisons.

Their specs are very similar, and they should perform the same - I would base it off of which one has a thicker bezel, as you want as thin a line between monitors as possible.
