Faint lines scrolling on moniter

I just got a new graphics card recently XFX 7870 and I keep seeing these faint lines flickering/scrolling down on my screen it seems to be far more apparent on dark screens and sometimes it will get worse. Anyone have any clue how to fix or what could be causing it?

Well you can also try a different cable, or just take a picture of the faint lines, then return the GPU. They'll troubleshoot it for you. If you bought that one yesterday, usually they have a 7day exchange policy. So you'll get a brand new one. Or if the cable is the only problem, they'll replace it for you. No need to buy one for yourself.
