you can upgrade your board to a 970 chipset board:

Depends what kind of a budget you are on.
Upgrading the whole thing on AMD front would be somewhere in the $300 range.
Simply upgrading CPU to 8320 might be a worth while investment though.
You'd get more cores and they would be better cores than in the FX-6100.
FX-8320 $139 now at newegg.
If you want to do the whole shabang.
M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard $95
Gskill Ares 2x4GB Cas10 2133Mhz $80
And probably want a good cooler for the CPU as well. Cooler Master 212 EVO or Xigmatek Gaia.
