I am currently a console gamer, but I am looking into pc gaming as a way to maximize my Battlefield 4 experience. How much would a gaming pc cost me to run this game? I know gaming pc's are much cheaper when you build your own, but I don't really know how to choose parts, or do the wiring and such. Any suggestions on price ranges or where I could look for a cheap gaming pc?

If we're talking no monitor included, you can get a pretty nice gaming PC that can run Battlefield 4 on pretty good settings for 400-600 pounds. That is norwegian prices aswell, probably a lot cheaper EVERYWHERE else in the world.

This would be a non-extras build though, no blu-ray, no SSD, no super-high-end CPU og GPU.
One tip; look for sales!
My friend got a PC in parts with good performance in BF3 for 400 punds.

Some tips for parts:
- AMD FX-series processor, they are not as good as Intel's CPU's, but they are really good for their price. 150 pounds and you'll get a high-end AMD CPU.

- The GPU/graphics card. I would go with at least a 7870 from AMD, although they have a new series of cards, I don't know much about them. From...

From Nvidia, anything above a 680/770 should be able to max it out nicely, these are pricier but better than something like the 7870. I run BF4 maxed out easily on my 680. You can get one of these for 250 punds, somewhat pricy.

These two are the most vital parts, other than these make sure to get enough RAM, (at least 4GB, preferably 8), a powerful powersupply, and then try to save some money on harddrives, network cards, cases, etc... You can easily upgrade these later, as well as all other parts.
