Not exactly sure of the correct category but this a problem my uncle is having. He has already switched USB ports and tried different mice. Here is a paste of his problem. Need some ideas. Thanks.
Getting more frequent lockups when moving cursor, tried moving wireless mouse to diff USB ports, same problem.
When it starts to happen if I am typing there will be a delay in letters, then cursor will freeze and some times after a delay will work again but cursor will sometimes change to a two headed arrow and then a faint vertical small line, or it may sometimes just initially lock up totally when trying to move cursor.
This used to happen also with the old hard wired mouse, then ran OK for a long time until recently.
I wonder if it is a virus.
